Considering how much attention she has received, it is not often that might see Sarah Palin booed. It appears it did happen, on “Dancing with the Stars”. However, it may depend on who you ask. After all, she should are there as Bristol Palin is one of the contestants. Bristol Palin is not off to a bad start either. She’s doing pretty nicely on the show so far.
It was not Palin booed
Bristol Palin being on “Dancing with the Stars” means that Palin is going to show up. However, there was an incident during taping. After Jennifer Grey received the critique from most judges after her routine, a loud chorus of boos came from the crowd, as outlined by USA Today. As the booing began, the camera panned down to the panel of most judges, and there sat the previous vice presidential runner-up. Tom Bergeron, one of the judges, insisted that the booing was because of the score being lower than the audience wanted Grey to receive for her performance with show partner Derek Hough. Palin actually got applause from the audience.
By the numbers
Bristol Palin really did quite well. She scored a 22. So far, Bristol has been solidly in the middle, so she is safe for now. Michael Bolton scored a 12, as outlined by the Los Angeles Times. Bolton is doubtless to receive the big ugly axe next. The former professional athletes are doing nicely, as might be expected. Rick Fox and Kurt Warner both got scores of 21. The rest of the bottom was expected. Margaret Cho, Florence Henderson, and “The Situation” are all good picks for the next person to get booted.
Not the saddest year yet
This hasn’t been the worst season so far. It ought to be entertaining. Certainly, some things don’t help the ratings. The most famous state first daughter is one of them. No one, as the line from “Dirty Dancing” goes, puts “Baby” in a corner. Jennifer Grey became a cultural icon for the role, and so far she nevertheless seems to have her chops.
